Principal Software Engineer

MISSION

Part time consulting or web page development projects from home or on travel to customer sites. No permanent relocation.

Improve software quality and development efficiency through modern practices and procedures, especially in the areas of configuration management and release management. I am dedicated to producing quality products with quality tools and processes.

I have been a practicing system and software engineer for three of the country's premier aerospace corporations for over 38 years. My experience includes analysis, development and group leadership for all phases of large programs. I have had project supervisory responsibility for 25 people and functional responsibility for 50. Analytically, I have designed, simulated and evaluated radio communication systems.

My web development experience includes page sets for two churches, an evangelist, and two recreational organizations. I strive to organize information to serve specific audiences, concentrating on clean presentation of meaningful content. Unique Perl, PHP, Javascript and mySQL utilities are developed as needed.

I retired in 2004.
